One of the fastest selling locks available at the moment is Ultion. With its Anti Snap protection and Lock Down Mode why would you choose anything else!
UPVC and Composite door mechanisms now have hook bolts or deadbolts fitted as standard, but the cylinder which controls all of the locking hooks and bolts is still the weak point on these doors. Criminals discovered this weakness in the design of the euro cylinder and exploited it to their advantage. The moment that the Ultion cylinder detects forced entry it activates an attack lock directly into the central cam, this is ‘Lock Down Mode’. Even if the most determined intruder gets past Ultion’s two sacrificial sections they won’t get to attack the lock because it is protected deep inside a solid molybdenum core and secured with a dedicated retaining pin. When Ultion is in Lockdown Mode your home and family are safe.
Even though Ultion has thwarted the intruders attempt to enter your home you can still operate your lock normally from inside. Ultion cylinders even stand up to criminals using a blow torch on them to get into your property. Ultion meets the highest 3 Star British Standard TS007 without needing to be bolstered with support of cylinder protectors or extra secure door handles. Sold Secure Diamond is a test developed in conjunction with The Master Locksmith Association. Tests designed by locksmiths.

People do not realise how many different variations of length cylinders are available on UPVC doors. This is because over the year’s door manufacturers have made so many different thicknesses of doors. Ultion have Anti Snap and Lock Down Mode on both sides of their cylinders except equal length i.e. 3535.
If you bring the cylinder in to us we will match it up for you, or you can take it out of the door and measure it yourselves. Be aware of how much it sticks outside of your door handle and you need to have it as flush to the handle as possible. Cylinders go up in 5mm’s on either side i.e. 3535, 3545, 4045 etc. so if it sticks out 5mm or more beyond your handle you need to adjust your measurement to suit.
When measuring the cylinder you need to measure from the edge of the cylinder to the centre of the screw that holds it in. This needs to be done on both ends as they are usually different lengths. We offer a fitting service if you are unable to do this yourselves.
Cylinders with thumbturn on the inside are available but we currently only stock 3535 as it is the most popular size. We can order any other sizes in for you and receive them within 24hrs (Mon – Fri) subject to stock and carriers.
We are able to provide keyed alike Ultion cylinders in our shop usually same day providing we have the cylinders. This is ideal when you have a pair of French doors or just want the convenience of having just 1 key for the front and back doors.
As a registered Ultion centre we only use Genuine Ultion keys!
